Temple Beth Sholom Preschool

Temple Beth Sholom Preschool offers programs for families seeking top quality Jewish education for their young children starting at two weeks old through Kindergarten. The total preschool experience provides a strong Judaic program integrated with an innovative, developmentally appropriate early childhood curriculum. Our goal is to give our children the foundations to become  independent, confident, and inquisitive learners.  During the year, the children will grow Jewishly, socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually through rich and challenging experiences in living and learning with others.  These growths will happen when a child is presented with a happy, fun-filled and loving environment

Our PARENT/CHILD CENTER offers programs for  parents to attend with their child..  Parent/ child classes include Little Stars for children 2 weeks through 6 months, Bright Smiles for children ages 7 months through 14 months, and Jolly Jumpers ages 15 months through 21 months. Seminars on child development topics are offered throughout the year and are open to the community.

PRESCHOOL CLASSES include a variety of programs for children 22 months through Kindergarten.  Class times include both half day and full day classes. Extended hours are available from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, and Friday until 3:00 pm. Lunch programs for our twos through Kindergarten are also available.

School wide programming includes Music Together, a physical fitness program, a library program, and an extensive field trip schedule. All children attend computer classes in our multi-media center housing 14  computers.  Children play daily in our new, fully equipped indoor and outdoor play areas.

The popular LUNCH and LEARN program allows children to participate in afternoon enrichment  activities according to their interests and includes Creative Arts, Young Scientists, Puppetry,  Little Chefs, and Music and Movement.

A full day KINDERGARTEN provides a superior secular and Jewish Education. For those that wish to take an extra year, our TRANSITIONAL KINDERGARTEN prepares our children  at their individual pace for Kindergarten. In addition, a Kindergarten Enrichment program is available for children attending public schools seeking to add a Jewish dimension to their Kindergarten experience.

CAMP KESHET offers a creative and innovative summer program. Outside entertainment, water play, and weekly themes offer our children a summer of surprises and fun!

Temple Beth Sholom prides itself on the rich Jewish content of its curriculum blended with a strong academic base, small class size, and a superior teaching staff.  Limited openings are available.
