The TBS Men's Club was honored this past summer at the National Federation of Jewish Men's Club Convention in Chicago.  We received a Torch Award for Best Overall Activities for our programming over the past two years, as well as the Quality Club Award.  FJMC sets the criteria for this award, and our Men's Club met that criteria.  There are 21 clubs in the Middle Atlantic Region, and TBS was one of only two clubs to receive this national award.  Immediate Past President Marc Cohen, Middle Atlantic Regional President and Past President Joe Swerdlow and current President Adam Pollack attended the ceremony.

Temple Beth Sholom Men's Club is proud to honor its MAR Man of the Year - Immediate Past President Marc Cohen. Marc was the treasurer and vice-president in 2003-2005, and was president from 2005-2007. The TBS Men's Club grew by leaps and bounds under Marc's reign. The club had much success under Marc as president. The club grew in membership, and the programs helped to enrich Temple Beth Sholom in many areas from Jewish content, Keruv, Men's Health awareness to speakers from all around the world. The AIPAC conference was the biggest attraction at a Men's Club breakfast in years.  Marc will be honored at a dinner at Beth Sholom in Elkins Park on Sunday, December 2nd. Cost is $45.00 a person.
