Shorashim
Shorashim is Temple Beth Sholom’s youth group for 2nd thru 4th graders. It is a wonderful introduction for your child into our synagogue's social, educational and community-service activities.
Shorashim means roots. Our young children are the future of TBS. Show them their roots by getting them involved, and by getting involved yourself as a parent volunteer.
Shorashim had a terrific pajama party/movie night at TBS on March 1. We ate ice cream sundaes and popcorn, heard a story from Rabbi Levenson, and then to into our sleeping bags and watched a movie. What fun we all had!
Our next program will be held on Thursday, April 10 at TBS, where we will cook to TBS friends. This is Shorashim's mitzvah program. We will cook, pack food, make art projects that will be part of the food packages, and then have milk and cookies for dessert. All second thru fourth graders are welcome.
