1:00 PMWise Aging Group
Led by Dr. Lee J. Richmond and Rabbi Bryan Wexler
Sponsored by Hazak
By connecting the wisdom of Jewish spirituality with the latest science of aging, this course opens us to the possibility that as we age, we can become more human and humane. Aging is not simply something that just happens to us. Rather, it is a developmental process over which we have more control than many of us realize. The focus of Wise Aging is to help us weave the threads of our life experiences into a cloak of compassion for self and others, and thus age with wisdom and grace, finding growth opportunities each new day. To help us accept reality without inviting suffering; to live with joy, resilience and spirit is the overarching goal of our Wise Aging Group.
