The Minha (afternoon) service is held before sunset. The Minha Service includes a Torah reading, the Amidah and other prayers. Shabbat ends with the Ma’ariv and Havdallah Services. The beautiful Havdallah Service lets us bid farewell to Shabbat using a braided candle, spices, and wine. We sing and pray for a shavuah tov (a good week).
