Death and Mourning
Your TBS Family mourns the loss of our loved ones and we are here for you in your time of need. When a death occurs, please call the synagogue at 856-751-6663 so that we may inform the clergy and assist you with the funeral, burial and shiva.
Cemetery
Temple Beth Sholom owns burial plots in the Temple Beth Sholom section of Crescent Memorial Park located at 7349 Westfield Avenue, Pennsauken, New Jersey 08110.
Crescent Memorial Park was established in 1933 as an exclusively Jewish cemetery for the South Jersey Jewish community. It is still one of the only exclusively Jewish cemeteries in Southern New Jersey. Crescent houses sections for the majority of synagogues in our area. Unveiling
An unveiling of the gravestone is typically held on the one year anniversary (first yahrzeit) of a loved one’s passing. Please contact the clergy for resources and guidance for this ceremony.
