Summary |
And just like that, Labor Day has come and gone, and we are now beginning our programmatic and school year. While things do get quieter here in some respects during the summer months, we remain very busy preparing for the coming year, especially with the High Holy Days coming a little earlier this year.
Please remember to submit your membership renewal forms and your High Holy Days seating and livestream requests ASAP if you have not done so already.
For those of you who have already submitted your membership renewal and High Holy Day seating requests, your High Holy Day packet will be available for pickup in the front office on Sunday, September 7, from 9am to 12pm, Monday, September 8, from 10am to 4pm, and Tuesday, September 9, from 10am to 4pm. Any remaining packets will be mailed on Wednesday, September 10. Please help the synagogue save money on postage by picking up your High Holy Day packet.
The High Holy Days this year will once again include options for you and your family to participate in our services and experiences both in-person and virtually. Family services will be held in the tent, and extra security personnel will be present to ensure that we have a safe environment for both indoor and outdoor services. Our investment in technology will ensure that we stay connected with those who choose to participate in services via livestream. An email with information about accessing the livestream will be sent as we get closer to the High Holy Days.
A note about High Holy Day seating that is mentioned in the FAQ’s in your packets – membership renewals and High Holy Day forms received by the June 30 deadline are separated by the room requested (Sanctuary, Balcony, Preferred, Friedman Social Hall, Helman Auditorium), and seats are assigned accordingly. Plus Givers are given priority over other membership categories in their seat assignments. All forms were processed in the order in which they were received.
