Thank you to everyone who helped make the High Holy Days run so smoothly, especially all the greeters and ushers who helped attendees find their seats and who helped with traffic flow in the parking lot. At the Board of Directors meeting last night, I shared some interesting statistics from the High Holy Days that I would like to share with you, along with other excerpts of my report to the Board.
We generated a total of 1,961 tickets for the congregational services in the sanctuary, and we had 300+ attendees in the tent for the family services. It is always interesting to see the livestream stats after the High Holy Days. We had 287 viewers for the first day of Rosh Hashanah, 210 viewers for the second day of Rosh Hashanah, 55 viewers for Kol Nidre, and 280 viewers for Yom Kippur.
And we had viewers from 20 different states around the country, including Los Angeles, Sacramento, Phoenix, Denver, Minneapolis, Dallas, Little Rock, Atlanta, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Wallingford, CT, New Haven, CT, Manhattan, Dover, DE, Washington, DC, Tampa, Port Saint Lucie, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and Las Vegas.
We have 905 membership renewals so far this year, with 22 families who have not yet renewed their membership. So now that the High Holy Days have come and gone, we are following up with those families who have not yet renewed their membership for this year. We ended last fiscal year with a total of 926 families. We have 174 Plus Givers (an all-time high), which includes 12 new Plus Givers, and 9 who increased their Plus Giver level.
Corporate sponsorship outreach for this fiscal year continues. Twenty-two of our 28 sponsors from last year have committed to sponsorship again this year, 6 are pending. Please contact me if you would like to learn more about how your company can be a TBS corporate sponsor.
Preparations are underway for our Festival of Lights fireworks display at Kellman Brown Academy on Sunday 12/21.
YTD budget reviews are taking place with department heads.
We are looking forward to continuing our relationship with The Lapin Group for this year, and we are meeting with them next week to reflect on this past year and to discuss our goals for this year including our stewardship program and planned giving (Life & Legacy).
Shabbat Shalom, and I look forward to seeing you in Shul. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, you can always reach out to me at rons@tbsonline.org or (856) 751-6663 x218.
B’shalom,
