Sisterhood Torah Fund

Dear Friends,

I hope this finds you well and healthy, and enjoying the last few days of summer. Even though we can’t be physically together, our Sisterhood is coming together to support and celebrate Torah Fund, and we would love you to join us.

The Torah Fund Campaign is the dedicated philanthropy of Women’s League for Conservative Judaism (WLCJ). Torah Fund strengthens Jewish education by supporting scholarships and programming at Conservative/Masorti Institutes for higher Jewish learning throughout the world. Torah Fund’s gift to you in recognition of a generous donation at the Benefactor level ($180) or higher is a beautiful pin depicting this year’s theme, B’Yachad,Together, symbolizing us all being together. In these unsettled times we will experience many changes and will navigate unchartered territory - B’Yachad,Together.

I am thrilled to announce that our Torah Fund guest speaker will be Debbi Karner Goldich, International President of WLCJ. And, at this year’s Torah Fund program we will be honoring Ilene Burach with the Karen Baer Emerging Leader Award.

Please save the date for our Torah Fund virtual brunch scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 6, 2020. The virtual brunch (bring your own coffee and bagels) program is free, but we do hope that you will make a donation of $36 or more to Torah Fund.  All monies collected for Torah Fund go directly to supporting the education of our future rabbis, cantors, Jewish educators, and leaders. Please make a commitment to the 2021/5781 Women’s League Torah Fund Campaign to ensure a legacy for future generations of Conservative Jews. Please choose to acknowledge Ilene Burach with a donation to Torah Fund made in her honor. Also, please make a donation to Torah Fund in memory of our dear friend, Karen Baer.
