Alex Weinberg, Director of Congregational Learning

Alex joined the TBS community 2011 as the Director of Congregational Learning. As the DCL, Alex has the opportunity to work with all of our congregants and families to create engaging and immersive learning experiences. Before joining TBS, Alex worked at Chizuk Amuno Congregation in Baltimore where he was Director of Congregational Education. 

Alex has a BA in Political Science from Columbia University as well as a BA in Modern Jewish Studies and a MA in Jewish Education from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. He is currently working towards an EdD in Early Childhood Educational Leadership at  American Jewish University. 

Alex is a life long Ramahnik who loves sports, cooking and spending time with his wife Jessica, three girls Samara, Daniella, and Yona.
