Michele Hasit Waxman, Director of Engagment

Michele joined the Temple Beth Sholom professional staff in 2019 as the Director of Engagement, having grown up at TBS, and returning back to Cherry Hill in 2017 with her young family.

Michele graduated from the University of Maryland in College Park with a B.S. in Public and Community Health, and then spent time working in public health both locally and abroad. Michele then served as the Communications Director of Camp Ramah in the Poconos, where she developed and managed organizational communications, engaged with new and prospective families, and worked closely in supporting development and fundraising efforts. She also worked with the National Ramah Commission as a Reshet Ramah Alumni Coordinator, planning and executing events throughout the year for alumni from all Ramah camps in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Michele lives with her husband Adam, and two children, Kira and Coby, who have both attended (and love!) the Eric B. Jacobs Early Childhood Education Center.
