Elementary Religious School

Temple Beth Sholom’s Elementary Religious School, in partnership with our students’ families, is committed to providing a caring, supportive and joyous atmosphere where children learn to cherish their Jewish heritage.  We strive to teach Jewish values and respect for the individual worth of each student, as well as respect for the entire community.  Emphasis is placed on teaching Jewish customs and values, including Torah, Jewish ethics, prayer, heritage, culture, Hebrew language and community service.  We inspire in our students the desire to continue with their Jewish education in our Beit Sefer Tichon (BeST) – Hebrew High School – the next step in a lifetime of Jewish learning.

Our Religious School was one of the first three religious schools in the nation to be recognized as a United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism’s Framework of Excellence School, a distinction we still maintain.  In addition, two years ago we received a Solomon Schechter GOLD Award for our Technology Center and its important role in the implementation of our award winning curriculum and for our program for children with special needs.  We take pride in these public acknowledgements of the high-quality Jewish education that we provide to our children and our families.

If you have any questions about the school, please contact our Education Director, Dina Eliezer.
